Michelle Koster – Business Development

Michelle began her career in construction when she was 18. She was always intrigued by watching large earthmoving equipment which led her to her first job as a flagger. She soon moved on to obtain her CDL so she could drive trucks and work as a laborer.

Upon graduation she moved to CA to work for a large general contractor as an Office Engineer, eventually working her way around the United States on multiple types of projects and becoming a Project Manager. She is now combining her field experience with her studies in Marketing to promote Your Green Contractor and assist with pre-construction activities.

She is ecstatic to be part of this new, green industry and loves the challenges it presents. From working with municipalities on permitting issues to learning about new types of lighting, HVAC equipment, RO systems and complex extraction machines, she is always seeking new information. In her free time, Michelle enjoys the outdoors and traveling to third world countries. She loves to learn about the people and their culture while taking in the dramatic sights. Last fall she traveled to Ouanaminthe, Haiti on a 10-day mission trip where she assisted in the construction of a new church. A meaningful life is not being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect…

“It is about being real, being humble, being able to share ourselves and touch the lives of others. It is only then that we could have a full, happy and contented life.”…unknown
